We all know about proper posture, but many of us are unaware of a different type of analysis called, Gait Analysis. A Gait analysis is used to identify inefficiencies in movement in patients, with or without injury. It also helps in recognizing postural or movement-related problems that can cause dysfunction within the body. Some people hear about gait analysis after they start running regularly and/or experience training injuries. This is because gait analysis is primarily employed in sports biomechanics where problems in posture and movement are identified, especially in relation to sports injuries. We do this type of analysis for every person that comes to us for health because everyone has a certain level of performance they must maintain throughout their daily lives.
